Natalie Walston Abbott, owner
I’ve combined my love of miniatures with my love of succulents. I lived in the desert for six years in Las Cruces and in very rural Lincoln, New Mexico — remember Billy the Kid? I went through years of grief when my husband, Lee K. Abbott, died in 2019. My world crashed for a while.
I’m working out of my she-shed now at home in my hometown of Marion, Ohio.
My love of miniatures started when I was young but came back during Covid times, when I bought a big doll house or 2 and hand painted the rooms and created faux wood floors and ceilings with hand-crafted wooden beams. I ordered tiny TVs with remotes and little laptops. Now when I find the succulents that I like I dip into my miniature stash and combine the two. I also use mostly American-made products from Etsy when I can. Shop local! I make succulent pots for holidays and accept special orders for a custom design.
Thanks for looking at my world in miniatures! 🏜️
